In light of the many and most recent Church shootings, it is unfortunate, but we at Zion Security feel it necessary to offer a course designed specifically for Church Security Teams. It is a tragic necessity that a course like this has to be taught in any country especially in America, there are no safe havens anymore.

NOTE: This course is for Church Security Teams, not individuals

Training will include, but not limited to the following subject matter:

·         History of Church Shootings

·         Qualifications of the Team

·         Duties of the Team Leader

·         Duties of the Team Members

·         Equipment for the Team

·         Training for the Team

·         Record keeping

·         Communications

·         How to conduct Threat Assessments

·         Evacuation Plans

·         Lock down procedures

·         What should be taught to the congregation?

·         Liability concerns

·         Policies and procedures

·         Use of force

·         Budgeting

·         The different types of security needed.

·         Posted property

·         Qualifications vs. Training

·         Firearms training and much more

    EQUIPMENT NEEDED

1.  Semi-auto pistol

2.  A quality holster that fits the make & model of your pistol.  (mandatory)  No

      shoulder holsters, cross draw holsters or small of back holsters allowed on

      range. Only strong side belt holsters will be allowed on the range.

 3.  A quality magazine pouch

 4.  A good strong belt

 5.  Three magazines

 6.  Ear muffs (not just ear plugs)

 7.  Hat, sunscreen

 8.  1600 rds of ammo

 9.  Safety glasses, prescription glasses or sun glasses

10.  Note Book and Pen

11. Sack lunch

12. A good attitude

5 DAY SCHOOL

CLASSROOM PORTION OF COURSE WILL BE:

Approximately 15 hours

 HANDGUN TRAINING PART OF THE COURSE WILL BE:

30 hours
